New board appointments position Camm-Pro for future growth

(l – r): Jim Craig, John Duncan, Joanna McLaughlin, Simon McBain, John Verling, Steve Martin

Following a sustained period of growth, leading project management and integration company Camm-Pro, has appointed five key individuals to its Board.

The appointments come as Camm-Pro continues to increase their portfolio of contracts across upstream, midstream, decarbonisation and energy transition projects.

Jim Craig will assume the position of Projects Director. With 30 years’ experience of which the last 3 has been with Camm-Pro,  Jim has a strong track record in project delivery roles across major projects and decommissioning.

Steve Martin brings a breadth of technical engineering knowledge and re-joins the board as Technical Director. Steve has over 35 years experience, working within engineering, production optimisation, energy transition and decommissioning projects.

Joanna McLaughlin has been a mainstay and a critical cog in the Camm-Pro organisation since its formation in 2016. With over 20 years’ experience as an Executive PA, as well as roles in business and facilities management, Jo will assume the role of Facilities Director.

John Duncan brings CFO and investment experience to the board, which will be significant in supporting the company’s growth plans and joins as a Non-Executive Director.

John Verling joins the board as a Non-Executive Director. John has a breadth of experience in Business Development, with over 40 years as a senior advisor and business development leader across the international energy sector.

Managing Director of Camm-Pro, Simon McBain, said: “It is extremely gratifying for me to welcome these individuals to the board. Collectively they bring a wealth of commercial, financial and technical expertise, and their complementary skillsets will safeguard the robust governance of the business, while supporting our growth plans.

“The appointments form the cornerstone of our strategy to successfully position Camm-Pro for controlled growth. Combined with our ISO9001 accreditation, we are well-placed to deliver our technical and commercially aligned solutions to an ever-expanding number of projects and developments across the energy sector.”

Earlier this year Camm-Pro secured a multi-million pound contract to deliver construction of a new pipeline on Shetland for bp, on behalf of the company and its Clair field co-owners. This contract, which sees Camm-Pro provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services, alongside project management and technical integration, is set to increase the company’s headcount by 25% to over 50.
